Dean has been named one of New Model Adviser’s Top 35 Next Generation Advisers 2024

We’re delighted to announce that our Chartered financial planner, Dean Poulson, has been included in the Citywire New Model Adviser Top 35 Next Generation Advisers 2024.

The accolade showcases the UK’s 35 best financial planners who are 35 or under, and planners must meet strict criteria to be included on the list, such as having:

• Developed themselves through qualifications
• Helped their firms grow through innovation and excellent client service
• Conducted work outside of advice to benefit their community.

Over the course of nearly 10 years at Britannic Place, Dean’s achievements mean he meets these criteria, earning his place among 35 of the most promising financial planners in the country.

Dean joined us nearly a decade ago as a trainee paraplanner with no financial services qualifications.

Throughout the years, Dean has undertaken all the accreditations required to become a fully-fledged adviser – funded by Britannic Place – while getting hands-on experience of working with clients, attending meetings, and being mentored by our founder and Chartered financial planner, Steve Perera.

This progress culminated with Dean achieving Chartered status in 2023, the “gold standard” of the financial planning profession.

Dean’s inclusion on New Model Adviser’s Top 35 Next Generation Advisers 2024 list is also significant for Britannic Place as a firm. Firstly, it means we have two fully qualified advisers on hand to assist you, ensuring there is always an experienced, knowledgeable adviser able to answer your queries and provide the support you need. In fact, you will likely have spoken to or worked with Dean over the course of the last decade, whether in his capacity as a paraplanner or more recently as a financial planner.

It also expands our capacity so we can help even more people achieve financial peace of mind and security.
