We’re excited to share our latest news with you about our charity referral incentive, and would love to tell you more about it, as well as explain how you can help!

What is our charity referral incentive?

A value close to our hearts is being able to give back to our local community. So, we plan to donate £50 for each referral we get and have set a target to raise £1,000 within the first year.

Who are we helping?

We’re proud to announce that our chosen charity is Wooden Spoon. We will be joining their patron, HRH The Princess Royal, and a whole host of rugby legends in supporting the children’s charity of rugby. Steve, our Chartered Financial Planner and Director (but not so much a rugby legend!), has recently become a member of this charity.

With headquarters in Hampshire and a strong Worcestershire presence, Wooden Spoon’s vision is that, through the power of rugby, every child and young person has access to the best life opportunities, no matter what their background.

Accordingly, their mission “to positively transform the lives of vulnerable children and young people through the power of rugby” is one we can completely get behind, and we are honoured to assist them in achieving their aim.

What they do

Wooden Spoon are constantly on the go. They plan events all over the country, from golf days and bike rides to galas and wine tastings. They also hold virtual challenges for those who would like to join in from the comfort of their own home.

In addition, Wooden Spoon awards grants to projects within the UK and Ireland. In fact, since 1983, they have committed more than £28 million to over 1,000 projects, helping to make a positive impact on thousands of lives.

How you can help

By referring any suitable clients our way, you will be helping to support Wooden Spoon in making a positive impact on the lives of children nationwide.

How you should recommend us

We’ll then contact them to arrange an initial discussion, and if we meet (face to face or online), we will arrange to donate £50 to Wooden Spoon.
