The 7 best firework displays for Bonfire Night in Worcestershire
Remember, remember the fifth of November.
It’s that glorious time of year again when you can put on a hat and gloves, grab a cup of soup or hot chocolate, and watch the sky light up with the best and brightest firework displays around the county.
With so many displays having been cancelled last year due to lockdown restrictions, it’s more important than ever to make the most of the events available here in Worcestershire.
So, here are seven of the best firework displays around the county for Bonfire Night in Worcestershire.
1. St Anne’s Primary School Fireworks, 5 November
St Anne’s Primary School in Bewdley is hosting a fireworks event this year, organised by the school’s PTFA.
Gates open at 5:30pm when you can expect great food, a fully licensed bar, and bouncy castle, all before a fantastic firework display at 7pm.
Tickets are available from the Load Street Deli in Bewdley and are just £5 per person or £18 for a family ticket of two adults and two children, with under-4s going free.
All the proceeds will go towards funding projects at the school.
2. Bonfire Night at The Royal Forester Country Inn, 5 November
The Royal Forest Country Inn claims to be one of the most vibrant and exciting country pubs in Worcestershire and will be hosting their own Bonfire Night event this year.
The night will feature a live band, snack menu, and bar service, as well as a huge bonfire and fireworks display lighting up the sky.
Tickets are free and there’s no booking required, so just show up and enjoy!
3. Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club, 5 November
The Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club (RFC) fireworks display returns this year on 5 November.
Gates will open at 5:30pm with a range of food and drink available, including Kendrick’s Smoke and Fire, Double Dough Pizza, Ascott’s Street Food, and the Bromsgrove RFC barbecue.
The bonfire will then be lit at 7:15pm with the fireworks starting at 7:45pm, before a performance from the Ron Jeremy band in the clubhouse from 9pm until 11pm.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children, with under-3s going free. You can also buy family tickets for two adults and three children for £15. Go to the Skiddle website to buy tickets in advance.
4. Churchfields Farm Family Fireworks Festival, 5 November
Located in Droitwich Spa, Churchfields Farm will be hosting their family-friendly fireworks event on Bonfire Night.
Churchfields Farm’s event is perfect for families with younger children as the display itself features low-noise fireworks for little ones to enjoy without the worry of loud bangs to frighten them.
There will also be burgers, sausages, churros, and ice cream, as well as the usual range of hot and cold drinks to enjoy.
Gates open at 5pm and tickets cost just £5 per person. You do need to book tickets in advance via the Churchfields Farm website.
5. Bonfire Night at Stoke Prior Country Club, 5 November
The Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club in Bromsgrove is a fantastic fireworks display, with the event fully open to both club members and the public.
Gates open from 5pm with live music at 5:30pm to enjoy alongside hot dogs, burgers, fries and more.
Fireworks from G Force Fireworks then begin at 8pm, followed by an indoor disco. There will also be bungee jumping and hook-a-duck to entertain little ones.
Tickets are just £5 for adults and £3 for children and under-3s go for free.
6. Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby & Squash Club Fireworks Display, 5 November
The Redditch Cricket, Hockey, Rugby & Squash Club Fireworks Display is back for 2021, with gates opening at 4pm.
You can enjoy a children’s funfair, perfect for families, as well as hot food and a bar, before a stunning firework display at 6:30pm.
Tickets can be bought at the gate on the night and cost £2 per person or £5 for a family ticket.
7. Back with a Bang at Sixways, 6 November
The Sixways stadium fireworks show is arguably the biggest and best firework display in the whole of Worcestershire.
Home to the Worcester Warriors, the Sixways stadium will be hosting its “Back with a Bang” show on 6 November.
Gates open at 5:30pm with fireworks starting at 7:30pm, with a fantastic view of a beautiful display from the ground’s East Stand.
Adult tickets are £9 and junior tickets are £5. There is also a range of hospitality packages that are perfect for Warriors fans, starting from £20 for adults and £11 for juniors. You can book tickets via the Sixways website.
