We’re Highly Commended!

As you may know, we were recently nominated for three categories at two prestigious personal finance awards. So, I’m writing now to let you know how we got on.

Last week, my wife and I headed down to London to eagerly await the judge’s announcements.

We attended the Schroders UK Platform Awards last Tuesday for the first award and were delighted to be Runner Up and Highly Commended for The Leading Adviser Practice category (up to 10 Advisers). For a business of our size facing stiff competition, we’re delighted with this result and aim to go one step further next year!

The next day, we headed to the Investment Life & Pension Moneyfacts Awards 2023 and were on a shortlist of

ten firms for each of the two different categories. Although we ultimately didn’t place in the Tax & Estate Planner of the Year category, we were Commended in the Retirement Adviser of the Year category.

If, at the start of the week, someone had said we’d be awarded these results, we’d have snapped their hand off.

Finally, to round off a busy week, on Friday we took part in the Vanguard Tough Mudder Takeover in West Sussex.

For anyone who isn’t familiar with a ‘Tough Mudder,’ it’s essentially a challenging and rewarding obstacle course race that tests you over a range of obstacles, including mud pits, ice baths, electric fences, monkey bars and plenty more!
